Tree Clearing Notice – Craighurst

Georgian Communities has received approval from the Township of Oro-Medonte and the County of Simcoe to carry out tree clearing on their development lands in the south east corner of Penetanguishene Rd and Horseshoe Valley Rd as shown on the key map below. This tree clearing (to be carried out in the green colored zone) is governed by an Environmental Impact Assessment prepared by Cambium on behalf of Georgian Communities. The work is scheduled to start on or about March 9, 2026, with a projected completion before March 31, 2026. During construction there will be construction traffic and equipment in the area and proper traffic control signs and will be in place to warn motorists and pedestrians of potential truck traffic and turning movements. Access to your residence, Emergency Services (Police, Fire and Ambulance), mail delivery and waste collection will not be affected.
